Taking this development forward, the company has recently revealed the official world premiere date of the Skoda Qilac.
Official World Premiere of Skoda Kyle Busch
Skoda is highly optimistic about its upcoming Qilaq as the brand has announced its entry into the sub 4 metre SUV segment.
When it comes to this segment, it is highly competitive with competitors like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
According to the official announcement of the company, Skoda Kyleac is going to be launched on November 6.
This will be Skoda's third vehicle to be based on the highly successful MQB A0 IN platform and will be the first vehicle to be launched under the company's India 2.5 strategy.
In the case of Skoda, the India 2.0 strategy gave birth to the Kushaq and Slavia.
The Kyleac will be the first car in India to feature Skoda's new 'Modern Solid' design language.
Skoda Qilac Expected Specifications
Meanwhile, the carmaker has released some sketches of the Kailok, which hint at a robust SUV design and related elements.
The spy pictures of the Skoda Kyalaq revealed a split headlight design with LED DRLs on top, a streamlined integrated grille.
There is a certain appeal to it as the Kyloq is smaller than the Kushaq, which isn’t a bad thing and might be what Skoda is aiming for.
It is worth mentioning here that its wheelbase will be shorter than the Kushaq to fit into the 4 metre length limit.
Visually, its wheels look like they are spaced out too little.
You can say that in terms of design, the Skoda Kyle Busch is less sharp than the Kushaq and has fewer creases on the body panels.
As a result, we can get a less costly and complex production process.
There is no glimpse of the interior of the Skoda Kyalaq yet, but it is expected to be similar to the interior of Kushaq.
Skoda is launching a sub 4 metre SUV in India for the first time.
The production-spec version of the Skoda Qilaq is planned to be launched on November 6 and is likely to go on sale in early 2025.
Its production can start anytime next month.
Skoda is expected to incorporate a robust production and supply chain with a target of over 50,000 units per annum, considering the fact that the under 4 metre segment is a high-volume segment.
This new launch will be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine with 115 bhp of peak power and 178 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
