Actress Jill Jacobson, who starred in the popular soap opera Falcon Crest and appeared in two Star Trek shows, has died at the age of 70.

Playing Erin Jones, Jacobson starred in 22 episodes between 1985 and 1987.
She then appeared in eight episodes of The New Gidget between 1986 and 1987, with lead co-star Caryn Richman. The Hollywood Reporter said Jacobson’s “comic timing was superb”.
He added, “His enthusiasm and love for life made our time on the set a joy.”
In 1989 she appeared in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and then seven years later played a different character in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Jacobson would also appear in five episodes of Days of Our Lives in 1995.
He continued acting in the 2000s and 2010s, and made his last appearance in 2020.
