Recently, star WR DeAndre Hopkins was traded to the KC Chiefs. As he was giving an interview after practice, a sports reporter captured footage of a naked NFL player in the background.
This has created a huge uproar in the National Football League.
What’s going on over here. Recently, NFL players have complained about how much access sports reporters have into team locker rooms.
Players have expressed that when they feel uncomfortable Keep an eye on the cameras and when they change. Keep in mind, these video interviews of sports journalists are released on every social media platform and the players are aware of it.
Many times, men will shower in the locker room, come into the locker room with their towels, and leave them to dry before putting on their clothes.
Unfortunately for them, sports reporters are already in the room because (1) there is limited time for interviews before a team goes back home and (2) practice has ended and the players are eager to leave.
Many players have reported that they feel as if they are being watched. Players have said that the solution could easily be to interview them outside the locker room.
However, the NFL isn’t doing anything about it. So the NFLPA (the union that fights to preserve the rights of NFL players) put out a message:
