Steve Cohen stops trading for Point72 hedge fund: report

Steve Cohen, Billionaire and Founder Hedge Fund Point72 Asset Managementhas stepped away from the trading floor and will focus on driving the firm’s growth, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday

Cohen, who remains the hedge fund's co-chief investment officer alongside Harry Schwefel, will spend his time mentoring and developing talent, the report said, citing an emailed statement.

Point72 did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

According to Point72 Asset Management’s website, it has over $35.2 billion in assets under management.
