In the first post-credits scene, Jana (played by Abhishek Banerjee) expresses his desire to return to Delhi after saving Chanderi from the headless evil spirit of Sarkate. However, Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan), who reprises his role from Bhediya (2022), warns him about a new threat looming in the capital. He warns Jana about a blood-sucking entity in Delhi, confirming the reports of the introduction of vampires in the horror-comedy universe.
According to multiple reports, Ayushmann Khurrana is rumoured to headline Vampires of Vijay Nagar, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Expected to hit the theatres in 2025, the upcoming movie will be helmed by Aditya Satpodar (of Munjya fame), according to Times of India.
The second post-credits scene
After dropping subtle hints about the Vampires of Vijay Nagar, the makers shift their focus to Stree 3 and unveil Akshay Kumar as the next primary antagonist in the series. In the second post-credit scene, Kumar’s character, a descendant of Sarkata, receives the evil’s remains, which mysteriously enter his body and transform him into a powerful entity, like Sarkata, hinting that he will return and play a more significant role in the future.
When will Stree 3 release?
During the Stree 2 trailer launch, Dinesh Vijan also announced that the script for Stree 3 is already finalised, hinting that it won’t take another six years for the next instalment to come out. “What will come next after Stree 2, will be a film called Dhaama, which we’ll tell you about later. We have already written Stree 3, so the gap will be less,” he said.
