Listen, listen, listen, we finally get our first look at James Gunn’s Superman. Now if you think that the trailer has been released early, then hold your horses, but it is not so. Instead, we’ve got a 30-second preview of Superman ahead of the release of the official trailer. So what did we see in the teaser? Let me tell you all about it!
Superman teaser shows first look at Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen
Although this teaser was short, We get our first look at the new Lois Lane for James Gunn’s SupermanAnd trust me when I say this, Rachel Brosnahan looks like Lois Lane stepped right out of the pages of the Superman comics. other than that, We also got our first look at Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy OlsenAnd besides being red-headed, he looks exactly like the Jimmy we’ve seen in the Silver Age Superman comics.
The teaser also shows the first official look at the Daily Planet, which will be featured in the Superman film. The costume design looks immaculate so far and overall, it looks like everything we will see in Superman is largely inspired by the Superman comic books. We also have some scenes of Superman flying and from what I could understand, it looks like the VFX work in this film will be another example of why James Gunn is one of the best in Hollywood.
Plus, the color grading we see in this teaser of the Superman trailer looks amazing. Until now, DC movies made under Zack Snyder have been known for using extremely dark environments which was actually a big downside. However, under James Gunn, it looks like we’re finally breaking out of that trend with Superman. so let’s wait superman trailer will be released, and stay tuned to us for every update regarding the DCU revival!
