The first trailer for Superman is here and trust me when I say that this trailer exceeds every expectation I had from the DCU and James Gunn. The trailer perfectly brings out the essence of Superman and his intentions. The clip contains a lot of elements. It includes several characters and some DC Easter eggs. So, let’s talk about what we saw in the new Superman trailer!
1. Lex Luthor
For as long as anyone can remember, Lex Luthor has been Superman’s archenemy. Since Superman first appeared on the pages of comic books, we have seen many versions of him on our screens.

Reactions were mixed when his casting was announced but judging by the way Nicholas has approached the role of Lex, it looks like he’s going to give an amazing performance.

Green Lantern is one of the most loved characters in DC and since Ryan Reynolds, no one has appeared on screen as a live-action Green Lantern, but now, Green Lantern is back on screen. However, this time we’re not going to get Hal Jordan, but nathan fillion As Guy Gardner. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect from him but seeing how perfect Gardner is in the trailer has convinced me that James Gunn knows what he’s doing.
3. Hawk Girl
Hawkgirl has been seen many times in animated DC movies and shows, but with Superman, we’re getting the first live-action adaptation of Hawkgirl. Playing the role of Hawk Girl in Superman isabella merced But we didn’t get any good shots of him in the trailer, we just got a glimpse of him in action and it looks amazing.
Metamorphoses is one of the most underrated superheroes in DC and it’s good to see him come to the screen alongside Superman. being played by metamorpho Anthony Carrigan And even though we didn’t get a chance to see him in action, we did get a brief glimpse of Metamorpho, but his makeup looks perfect, so let’s wait and see what happens!
5. Mister Terrific
The most anticipated appearance in Superman is that of Mister Terrific. This particular character is not that well known, but those who know him will attest to how cool and badass he is. 6. Crypto

Krypto has been portrayed as multiple races in DC Comics, so we can’t really tell which race he is. However, this version of Krypto seems to be inspired by the Silver Age of Superman comics.
7. Stag Industries
Some photos from the Superman shoot surfaced after people pointed out that the “Stag Industries” logo was printed on the suits worn by Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl. Now, when the trailer has been released, it has been confirmed that Stag Industries is going to be a part of this film. This revelation also indicates that we can see the formation of JLA (Justice League of America) in DCU. So let’s wait and see what happens!
8. Kent Farm
The Superman trailer also gave us a shot of the Kent Farm which is kind of an Easter egg and it looks very different from the versions we’ve seen so far with the live-action Superman movies. Now, since James Gunn has already confirmed that there will be no backstory or origin of Superman in Superman, this shot could be from Superman’s flashback. However, nothing can be said with complete confidence right now.
9. Jonathan Kent
The trailer also gives us a look at Pa Kent, or Jonathan Kent, Clark Kent’s adoptive father. As of now, we don’t have any details on whether or not he’s going to have a major impact on Superman’s story. However, the clip we see again appears to be a flashback sequence as Clark’s father passed away before he became an adult, so let’s wait and see what happens.
10. Fortress of Solitude
We also get our first look at Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. We don’t see a clear image of the fortress but it looks like Christopher Reeves’ Superman heavily influenced this version. The clip shows the fortress rising up from the snow, so we can expect to see a sequence where Superman builds his fortress.
11. Kelex
Some of you might not be able to tell who this blue robot Superman is mourning. Well, that’s what I came here for, for that the blue robot is kelexIn the Superman comics, he is the sole caretaker of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, but in the comics, his complexion is golden, so it’s pretty clear that the DCU has changed some things.
