“I think I had already paid off all my loans six months ago when the administration announced they were going to give forgiveness,” Donalds said Thursday.
“So I got angry,” he added. “Honestly, I was crazy.”
Noting that he had long-standing student loans, Donald criticized the “immoral” nature of placing the burden of outstanding debt on taxpayers who either never attended college or have already paid off their dues.
“‘Wait, will I get a reimbursement check for some other work I should have done?’ And they say, ‘No, because you paid for it,'” the representative said.

“They did not have the legal authority to forgive student loans. They knew they didn’t have the authority to have student loans forgiven,” Donalds said.
“The administration goes away and they blame the court,” he said. “No, the court was right!”
Donalds made the comments while speaking to a large group of employees of Harrisburg-based company Ritter Insurance Marketing, where he stopped by to campaign for House colleague Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.).
