Tamra Judge's mom is yelling, “That's my opinion!”
After the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star underwent surgery for a brow lift, CO2 laser treatment and a blue chemical peel that left her unrecognizable, her mom, Sandy Baker, had some special words for her. Her daughter's recovery,
The 57-year-old actress wrote on Instagram Stories on Monday, Share Screenshots Barker's note read, “Just looking at your face makes me want to vomit. It looks so painful and you don't look like yourself at all. A friend of mine called to ask if you were in a motorcycle accident.”
Judge didn't seem bothered by her mom's brutal honesty — some might say, like mother like daughter. Instead, the reality personality responded with a video of herself with a swollen face, seemingly unaffected by the text.
“I can't stop laughing at the text messages my mom sent me,” the judge said. “You guys know where I get my sympathy from? I can't, it's too much.”
The podcast host has continued to update fans following his surgery, revealing that although things are painful, they are going in the right direction.
“It's day three, and it really is day three so this right here is the most important thing,” Judge told his followers a few hours ago. “This is the worst day and it's on my birthday, so happy birthday to me.
“Sofia gave me this shirt for my birthday. It says HOMEBODY,” she added. “It says everything about me.”
Although the Bravolebrity has been recovering in the comfort of her own home, life hasn't been easy for her.
“The swelling is too much. The doctor wanted to give me a steroid pack today, and Eddie went to get it, and the pharmacy is closed today,” Judge said. “So I won't do that. I'll do that tomorrow.”
The former “Traitors” member may not be able to celebrate her birthday in the usual way, but she's celebrating the little victories.
“I'm feeling a little better today, I've had a shower, I can turn on the TV now, before, the noise from the eyebrows being raised would hurt my head so badly that I wanted to be completely silent,” the judge admitted. “So, I just wanted to come in and give a quick update on what's been going on.”
Later in the video, Judge slowly walks around her kitchen when her 18-year-old daughter asks, “Are you stepping up?”
“I'm trying to get my steps up so I can poop,” the Orange County resident responded. “I haven't pooped in three to four days. I don't even know what it is yet. They say if you keep moving, you can poop. But I'll have to do it when the pain pills work.”
“Oh my god,” Sophia replied.
'Real Housewives of Dubai' star Caroline Stanburywho opened up about her facelift earlier this year, commented: “OMG @tamrajudge Does this look worse than a facelift?” while “Real Housewife” Brian Whitfield said, “You already look amazing, so you're about to look even more incredible! Happy birthday!”
A day earlier, the judge had detailed his experiences from just before the surgery to his recovery from the surgery.
“I will take you all with me on my journey!” she said wrote on instagram. “I visited Dr. Donald Moulds in Newport Beach, who works with Dr. Ambe, for a brow lift, CO2 laser, and blue chemical peel.”
“Seven years ago, I replaced the bottom portion but left the top portion unfinished — like painting the house but forgetting to do the trim,” Judge said. “Stay tuned for updates!”
The judge took a selfie wearing oversized sunglasses, a medical cap and a hospital gown and then looked at himself on the other side.
“Okay guys, I'm okay. It took me an hour to recover,” she tells the camera while lying in a hospital bed. “I don't feel bad. My eyes are blurry because there's like Vaseline in there or something. But — let the recovery begin.”
The next clip shows the judge being pushed out of the Orange County Surgery Center in a wheelchair. His face appears to be green from the peeling.
After returning from the hospital, she says: “Well, I got home from the surgery center about an hour ago, so it's probably been three hours since the operation. They took a little bit of skin out of the corner of my eye. I had a little bit of fat in my eye. Honestly, it didn't hurt too much. But, of course, I'm on painkillers – call me at 5 a.m.”
The next morning, the judge sat in bed with a plate of food on his lap and gave the final update to the audience.
“Day one. I feel OK. A little tired. You know what happens when you take those,” she said, showing her prescription medications and a plastic bag full of prunes. “You get constipated.”
Judge posted a close-up of her face covered in bandages before signing off with a final note. As she said, Judge was “very caught up in this.”
