Taylor Swift’s handwritten secret note to diehard fans at Melbourne concert

It’s the stuff Swiftie dreams are made of.

Two incredibly lucky Taylor Swift fans had “the best night” of their lives after attending the pop star’s Melbourne concert at the MCG on Saturday night.

Diehard Swifties Emily Hunt and Bonny Rebecca, who run a popular Taylor Swift YouTube channel called Chats and Reacts, were already planning to attend her concert the next night, too.

But the pair were invited to watch Swift’s third and final Melbourne concert on Sunday from inside the VIP tent, joining the star’s close friends and family.

And to top it all off, Swift’s father Scott delivered the two YouTubers personally handwritten notes from the megastar.

One of the notes was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by Hunt, who wrote: “A handwritten letter from @taylorswift to me, put into my hands by her dad tonight. I am deceased.”

The letter reads: “Emily, hi! I’m so grateful to you and Bonny for how much you’ve cared about my music, and all the times you’ve referred to it as ‘iconic’ and ‘immaculate’.”

“You’ve made me laugh and made me feel understood many times with your reviews,” Swift’s note continues

“I love your wild joy and enthusiasm.

“That’s why I do this!

“Have a blast tonight. Sending my love.

“Taylor. xoxo.”

Later, the ecstatic duo posted images from their night inside the VIP tent, including selfies with Taylor’s dad.

Holding up the envelopes containing Swift’s handwritten notes, one picture was captioned: “The best night of our whole lives.”

Reflecting on their experience on Monday morning, the pair said they were still floating on air.

“Taylor Swift is the KINDEST, MOST THOUGHTFUL human on this planet,” the pair wrote.

“The experience of it all was ENOUGH, so the fact that she was like NO I NEED TO WRITE THEM SOME LETTERS TOO??

“She so deeply didn’t have to do that oh mother, you don’t know what you mean to us.”

They followed up with a second message to their followers.

“The only person who is even close to matching Taylor’s superiority is our LORD FATHER SCOTT SWIFT, GOD WE LOVE THAT MAN WITH EVERY CELL IN OUR BODIES.”

Followers were excited for the pair — and a little jealous, too.

“I say I’m happy for them, and then I cry myself to sleep,” one follower joked.

“I am so happy for you! It must be crazy to know she’s been watching your videos!!” another wrote.

“Those letters were so thoughtful the fact that she said OVER THE YEARS, meaning she has been a follower of your videos!!!” added a third.

“OMG.”

After a record-breaking series of shows in Melbourne, Swift now has a few days off before performing another four sold-out shows in Sydney from Friday to Monday night at Accor Stadium.

The world’s biggest pop star broke her biggest concert record on Friday night, performing to a crowd of 96,000 fans on the first night of the Australian leg of the tour.

“This is the biggest show that we have done on this tour, on any tour I’ve ever (done),” Swift told the MCG on Friday.

As she wrapped up the final of the three concerts, Swift declared on Sunday, “Some stadium girl math for you … 96,000 people the first night, 96,000 people the second night, 96,000 people tonight.

“Those are all the biggest shows I’ve ever played on a tour, and you did it three times.

“The math is that it’s 288,000 people in three nights, Melbourne. You are the love of my life.”

Melbourne celebrated the milestone with a one-minute standing ovation, something Swift said was “unforgettable for me, I’ll never forget it”.
