Media Take Out has learned that Pastor TD Jakes has recently made some explosive allegations against a young man who claims the pastor “groomed” and “abused” him.
TD Jakes is denying the allegations and has filed a defamation lawsuit against the man in Pennsylvania federal court.
The man making the allegations is a pastor named Duane Youngblood, who has a troubled past. Duane claimed last month during an episode of the Larry Reid Live podcast titled “The Abused Becomes the Abuser”, Duane accused Jake of attempting to sexually abuse him when Duane was still a teen.
She said that during a trip to Pittsburgh, Jakes wrapped his arms around her and tried to kiss her. She further alleged that she had received a call from Jakes to discuss having sex.
Duane was “18 or 19” at the time, and was struggling with his sexuality at the time. He claims Bishop Jakes isolated him and tried to groom him. Listen to the story.

Pastor TD Jakes is not sitting idly by and accepting Duane’s testimony. He claims that Duane hired Tyrone Blackburn and is also trying to get him back for the $6 million.
In the defamation suit filed by TD Jakes, he said that Youngblood demanded $6 million from Jakes to suppress the issue, and vowed to take him to court for sexual harassment if the demand was not met. “Youngblood’s intent and motive for making these allegations will become crystal clear a few weeks later along with his excessive financial demands,” the complaint states.
Jake’s legal counsel claims that such actions amount to extortion and that these actions instigated a medical emergency that Jake suffered during a church service shortly after the charges were filed against him.
TD Jakes is currently recovering after suffering an unspecified medical emergency while preaching last Sunday – just days before this explosive story broke.
The 67-year-old pastor claims that he has not suffered a stroke, but he is currently recovering in the hospital.
