A teenager’s neck was cut after a confrontation with a stranger during the Thursday evening rush hour in Queens, police and sources said.
The 19-year-old victim was traveling on a northbound J train passing through the 75th Street-Elderts Lane station in Woodhaven just before 6 p.m. when another rider collided with him, authorities and sources said.
Sources said an altercation took place between the two before the assailant swung the knife and stabbed the teenager on his arm.
After this the alleged attacker got down from the train and ran on the road.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a yellow jacket, black sneakers, a gray beanie hat, and a green backpack.
