Netflix has announced that it will be releasing 12 new Telugu movies in 2024. The list includes some highly anticipated films such as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule — a sequel to the 2021 action-thriller Pushpa: The Rise; Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire featuring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan; RRR star Jr NTR’s upcoming film Devara, and many other upcoming Telugu projects.

Netflix had previously acquired the rights to Telugu films such as Dasara, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, Kushi, Bro, and Bhola Shankar, and received a good response in 2023. As a result, the streaming platform has decided to further expand its reach in the Telugu film industry by acquiring more top Telugu content in 2024. Below is a list of the new and upcoming Telugu projects that Netflix has announced, which will be available on their platform in 2024.
1. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire
Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire revolves around the bond between a tribesman (played by Prabhas) and the prince of Khansaar Varadha (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran). As the plot thickens, the prince asks his friend for help to become the ultimate ruler of the fictional dystopian state of Khansaar.
