The killer who shot and killed a Texas father inside a Houston garage on Halloween night hid his identity with a white Michael Myers mask, investigators claim.
The slain father was identified by relatives as 38-year-old Eric Patt Jr.
Pat’s murder came more than two months after the murder of his estranged wife and mother of his three children, ABC13 Houston reported,
On August 16, 37-year-old Carmen Peterson was shot inside an apartment, also in Houston.
ABC 13 reported that investigators had identified Pat as a person of interest in the still-unsolved murder.
Police said they were called to the horrific crime scene just before 11:30 p.m. on Halloween night after several neighbors and one of Pat’s children called 911.
Two small children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but were not injured.
Their third child, a toddler, was with a relative and was not home at the time, ABC13 reports.
Neighbors reported seeing a man inside The iconic “Shape” mask Running away from the area.
The mask was made famous by the “Halloween” series of slasher films.
Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for Pat’s murder. Tea
Peterson’s murder investigation is also ongoing and detectives are trying to link the two cases.
