It’s been some time since Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron won the Best Animated Feature Film awards at the Oscars 2024. While fans worldwide got to experience Miyazaki’s latest animated marvel, Indian fans weren’t lucky enough. However, our luck has turned around now, as an official announcement for the release of The Boy and the Heron in Indian theatres was made today.
The official account of Warner Bros. India on X (formerly Twitter) announced the Indian release of the latest Ghibli movie earlier today. Hence, it is now confirmed that the Academy Award-winning anime film The Boy and the Heron will be released in the majority of Indian theaters. However, we don’t have a confirmed release date yet.
Both the Japanese (with English subtitles) and English dubbed versions of the anime film will be released in India. So, dubbed fans can also enjoy this scintillating release from Studio Ghibli. That said, stay tuned for more updates on the Indian release of The Boy and the Heron.
