The Chase's Issa Schultz has gained a huge following as “The Supernerd” on the popular quiz show.
But on Monday, the wisecracking, bow-tie-wearing man opted for a more modest look when he made an appearance on stage. The Morning ShowSpeaking of big changes Follow.

Contestants who make it to the final round of the Mega Money Spinner will have the opportunity to win $50,000 by answering 10 questions correctly, or $100,000 by answering 15 questions correctly.
Schultz said, “This is the first change we've made to the show, really, in many years… I've been getting a lot of feedback that we should pay more. So, that's what we're going to do.”
“After their final chase, teams can win up to $100,000, which I don't get paid for, thankfully. But if I lose, they win. We've already seen a lot of happy teams.”
Reflecting on his role on the quiz show, Schultz explained that it can be tough when contestants have altruistic motives.
“It’s tough because there are teams who have sick relatives in Ireland, things like that, and that’s what they want to do with the money,” Schultz said.
“It's hard. But I have to ignore it and, you know, remember that it's just a game and we're not taking money from them.”
Schultz also admitted that despite starring on Dancing With the Stars last year, he hasn't kept up with his skills.
“You've seen me dance a bit before I walked onto The Chase set and I think it's fair to say my skills haven't improved at all. I've decided I prefer watching dance,” Schultz said.
“My lovely dance partner Lily Cornish, what a talent.
“She’s in Australia at the moment doing Burn the Floor (live show) with Phil Burton from Human Nature, who won the whole season I was on.
“I guess I'm a spectator. I know it sounds out of context. It sounds really bad. I'm a dance spectator. We'll call it that way, because I don't have the moves. I'm very slow and clumsy, I fall over.”
