“You have always been kind to everyone you met and this just confirmed what we always knew!”

Nicola shared that after Payne’s death she had been following their text exchanges from the night she welcomed their daughter Ffionne.
”How excited you were to meet him, the jokes we all shared and the laughter you knew we all needed,” she recalled.
“You lived your life with the motto ‘why bother doing something unless you’re talented at it’, and Liam you were definitely talented at everything you did!!
“Unfortunately this cruel world is always quick to judge someone from a few five-second clips, then they think that gives them the right to be able to speak like they know you. We knew you and we loved you.
“I hope you finally find peace out there and that you continue to take care of all of us as you have done in life.”
She concluded the post by referencing Payne’s seven-year-old son Bear, writing that their family will “make sure Bear knows his dad and how much you love him, we promise.”
“See you soon Liam, love you xx.”

“I spoke from the heart with pride in public about Liam, but never said much about life as his sister.”
He remembered picking them up from the X-Factor live shows and the work that “started it all”.
Ruth said, “Liam loved 1D, he loved his brothers and we talked about it a lot.”
“He would play songs one after another that were recorded but never used and we would sit and do a mini 1D concert.
“Liam knew he could call me any time, any day and I would make the call or I would always call him if he needed to come home.
“Our calls often resulted in me laughing at her ideas and next adventure, talking about her plans and working through her issues but it always ended with ‘love you miss you’ ‘love you ru’ “It used to happen.”
She said she kept a list titled “Things to tell Liam” on her phone’s Notes app and she would fill it in with details when he was away for long periods of time.
Sharing a message directly to her brother, she said: “My mind is struggling to understand what is happening and I can’t understand where you have gone.
“I just want to drive up to your house and walk in to the music and find you sitting there writing a song or walk in your art footsteps and sit with you while you draw or do a craft .
“The thing I love most about you is your ability to make me laugh, I never laugh as much as I do when I’m with anyone else, like you.
“I’m always amazed by your talent, it should be illegal to be so talented and have the ability to not only be good at things, but be great at everything you try, without knowing that you can completely destroy it.” There are times.
“I love your kindness and how proud I am to call you my brother and my best friend. You also make great Sunday dinner!
She added: “You never believed that you were good enough, I hope now you can see the flow of love that you never got in your time.
“Thank you for changing my life, thank you for the incredible memories, thank you for being the best brother and friend I have ever had!
“We will take care of Bear and he will always know what an incredible father he has and how much you idolize him.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you.”
