“I am still under the influence of Logis and love it very much.”
“The Morning Show is going great, The Chase is going great, my whisky is going great, everything in my life is absolutely fantastic.
“When you read things like: 'Larry Emdur is living in fear' (or) 'His family is in danger,' that's not right. That's not going on in my life.”
He thanked everyone for their concern, but said he was “absolutely 100 per cent fine”.
“It’s just normal business.”
His comments come after an incident at Seven's Sydney headquarters last month which led to charges being laid against a 52-year-old man.
Emdur, one of the most loved men on Australian TV, won two Logie Awards at a star-studded ceremony held at The Star last month.
He was named Australia's most popular TV presenter and awarded the Gold Logie as well as the Bert Newton Award – beating Tony Armstrong, Andy Lee, Sonia Kruger, Robert Irwin, Julia Morris and Asher Keddie to this highly prestigious award.
Following his win, Emudra appeared live on The Morning Show and got a tattoo of the initials of his fellow nominees and promised to get a similar tattoo if he won.
During an interview with Sunrise on August 19 following his Gold Logie win, Emdur told Nate and Shirvo that it was the “stupidest” promise he had ever made.
Reflecting on his Gold Logie speech, Larry said it was an “amazing” moment in his career.
“I knew I wanted to thank my work family and my family’s family — I knew I wanted to thank the other nominees, too,” Emdur said.
“It was so surreal. I was standing there looking at all these famous people. I was thinking, this really was a moment.”
“I was very humbled, thrilled and honoured … you just say 'wow, all of TV is in this room. Everything I worked for and everything I wanted to be a part of (in my career)'.”
