Isha Ambani reveals her most prized possessions
In an interview with Vogue India, Isha Ambani revealed her most prized possessions. One is a neon Tracey Emin creation with the special message: “When I hold you, I hold your heart.” Nita Ambani gifted the expensive artwork to her daughter as a graduation present. Tracey Emin is an English artist renowned for her autobiographical and confessional artwork.
Besides the Tracey Emin piece, Isha Ambani also treasures Anand Piramal’s wedding gift to her. It is an abstract work by Jennifer Guidi, an American painter known for her atmospheric, abstract paintings. However, Isha Ambani’s favourite artwork, from her vast collection at home, remains one with a sentimental value — “There are many pieces that I admire and truly respect but my favourite work of art is my children’s hand print on a piece of paper stuck on my fridge.”
Isha Ambani credits her artistic pursuits to her mother, who constantly motivated her creativity: “She has been my core inspiration, always encouraging my brothers and me to pick up something we liked and pursue it with dedication. For me, it was sketching, painting and drawing—these are still my go-to when I need some calm.”
The Ambani family aren’t just art collectors, but also house some of the most expensive jewellery in the world; whether it is Nita Ambani’s Rs 500 crore emerald-diamond necklace or the Rs 451 crore Mouawad L’Incomparable diamond necklace gifted to Akash Ambani’s wife Shloka Mehta by her in-laws.
Isha Ambani, in the same interview with Vogue India, also revealed another of her prized possessions — her gorgeous engagement ring. “I will have to give it to my husband, he really thought about it,” the billionaire businesswoman remarked about her husband’s choice, a massive heart-shaped diamond ring.
