Third ‘Venom’ film spends second week at No. 1

,smile 2“The psychological thriller starring Jack Nicholson’s son, Ray, remains in the No. 2 spot, earning an additional $1.98 million after its third week in theaters for a total of $47 million in sales.

,HereIt is the only new release from renowned filmmaker Robert Zemeckis to enter the top 5 this week, coming in at number 3 with $1.94 million in first-day sales.

The PG-13 film revolves around a house and the various families that move in over the years.

Johnny Oleksinski of the Post criticized “Here”, saying that the film is “like watching a cheesy stage play in which the actors, going 200% crazy, deliver soapy speeches at a wall.”

“The Wild Robot” finished fourth at the box office, grossing $1.8 million. The film has earned more than $115 million in five weeks.

“Conclave,” a drama about the naming of a new Pope starring Ralph Fiennes, is at No. 5 with $1.4 million during its second week in theaters.
