The total billionaire count in India currently stands at 200, according to Forbes. Among them is Zomato co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal, who became a billionaire after Zomato shares reached a record high a few weeks back.
Deepinder Goyal became India’s newest billionaire due to the 4.2% stake he owns in Zomato. The shares of Zomato have surged over 300% in just two years, significantly boosting Goyal’s net worth to Rs 8,400 crore, according to Financial Express. The 41-year-old, an alumnus of IIT Delhi, started the food delivery platform in 2008 and has come a long way since.
Besides being known for his entrepreneurial excellence, Goyal is also well-known for his passion for luxurious cars. He already possesses some of the most expensive cars, and after becoming a billionaire, he expanded his collection with another remarkable addition.

According to Financial Express, Deepinder Goyal has added a new luxury vehicle to his impressive collection of cars – a Bentley Continental GT Speed, valued at Rs 6.5 crore. Recently seen at a traffic signal in Delhi, the striking yellow Bentley is equipped with glossy black 21-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle boasts a powerful W12 engine, delivering an impressive 771 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 kmph. A key feature of the Continental GT Speed is the Bentley Performance Active Chassis package, which includes advanced systems to enhance the car’s handling in various driving conditions.
The car is also equipped with several other advanced features, including power-adjustable exterior rearview mirrors, automatic climate control, an anti-lock braking system, and a state-of-the-art infotainment system.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed boasts a striking exterior design with a bold appearance. Its radiator grille and matrix-style lower bumper grille add a luxurious and sophisticated touch to the car. According to Mint, in March 2024, Goyal bought India’s first Aston Martin DB12 sportscar, priced at Rs 4.59 crore. The car features a powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, generating 800 Nm of torque and 680 bhp.
