On Sunday, Chiranjeevi Guinness World Records recognized Chiranjeevi as the most successful star in the Indian film industry in the actor/dancer category. The certificate given to Chiranjeevi had these words printed on it: “Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star (Bharat) the most successful movie star-actor/dancer in the Indian film industry will be achieved on 20 September 2024.
according to PTIA source close to the actor revealed that Chiranjeevi has performed 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs of his 156 films in 45 years.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Richard Stenning said the jury thoroughly reviewed all of Chiranjeevi's works. The rise of Chiranjeevi becoming a star He began his acting career in 1978, initially gaining attention for his supporting and villainous roles. However, he later began playing lead roles in films. Prisoner (1983) was a turning point in Chiranjeevi's career, becoming the highest-grossing Telugu film of that time. This was followed by many more superhit films such as pasivaadi pranam (1987), Yamudiki Mogudu (1988), Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (1989), Athiloka Sundari (1990), Gang leader (1991), Gharana Mogudu (1992), and Aapadbandhavudu (1992), among others.
