Imagine cruising the high seas in a gold superyacht that got a multi-million dollar facelift. AK Royalty, the vessel in question, was painted gold by its owner Aaron Fidler so it would match his Lamborghini.
The Australian-born, former chief engineer purchased the 136-foot shallow draft, go-fast Palmer Johnson back in 2022, and had it revamped so it would be coated from bow to stern in a customised paint made from real 24 Carat gold dust.
Fiddler gives the credit for the AK Royalty’s luxe interiors to his wife Kseniya, who opted for more monochromatic Fendi and Dior furnishings to balance the glittering golden exterior. The couple reportedly navigated the remodelling in a way that it would be complete in time for a post-wedding cruise in the Mediterranean one year later. Currently, the gold superyacht docks in Dubai.
Aside from its stunning exterior and interior, the AK Royalty also stands out for its special facilities and services, which include a six-person jacuzzi, an outdoor gym with a personal trainer, an entertainment space with a DJ booth and outdoor cinema, a 12-person inflatable trampoline, gold-dusted jet skis… and the list goes on.
