Thousands of Guava Roam strollers recalled due to dangerous brake issue


Approximately 8,500 Guava Family baby strollers have been recalled due to a problem with their brakes.

The Rome First Generation Stroller was found to have brakes that could either not engage or disengage, which could cause injury, Consumer Product Safety Commission Announced.

The potentially dangerous products were manufactured between July 2020 and December 2021 and were sold for between $500 and $550 from August 2020 to October 2023 on the company’s website as well as Babylist.com. cpsc Said.

They are foldable strollers with a black frame and the Guava logo printed in gray.

Strollers manufactured in 2022 or later are unaffected.

Users are instructed to stop using the stroller and contact Guava Family for a repair kit including the stroller frame, seat unit and seat pad, and stroller canopy, which are pre-installed with instructions.
