Congrats are in order, as Atlanta legends T.I. and Tiny have officially become grandparents for the third time.
T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris are now grandparents to two children, with a third child on the way, coming from their 20-year-old son, King.
T.I. and Grand Hustle artist Young Dro stopped by Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 to promote their latest song “Thank God,” featuring Kirk Franklin.
At one point during the conversation, TI turned to his family. The couple, married for 14 years, now has a nearly empty house because their oldest son of seven children has moved out.
“It's awesome that they're moving out of my house and doing their own thing,” T.I. said, adding that his kids now understand the importance of “taking care of your own things.” He added that his son Domani, 23, recently became a homeowner and father for the first time.
He added, “It makes me happy to see him realize, 'Hey, I've been wasting people's money for all these years,' you know? And he just became a father. So I have two grandchildren.”
And there's more. The Grammy Award-winning artist also revealed, “I'm having a grandson. King is having a son.” He also jokingly took a dig at his son's gangster persona.
“I told him I'm going to make him the greatest gangster of all time. I'm going to raise this kid to torture you the way you tortured me. I promise you this young man will be prosecuted,” he added. King has a checkered past of missteps, which have been blamed for him adopting the image of a man who has lived a life of struggle.
But T.I. is committed to helping King be the best father he can be. Media Take Out was not able to find out who the young woman who is carrying King's baby is.
