The “Today” team never disappoints with their Halloween costumes.
Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Bush Hager and the rest of the NBC news program’s anchors showed off their epic costumes to the world on Thursday’s broadcast.
This year’s theme was “VHS Rewind”. The hosts paid tribute to characters from iconic films of the ’90s and 2000s, including “Austin Powers,” “Legally Blonde,” and “Beetlejuice.”
Last year the theme was “Kellyoke” – iconic segment of the “Kelly Clarkson Show” Where “American Idol” alumni sing covers of pop songs. The “Today” cast wore costumes of the city’s most popular musicians, including Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Sonny and Cher and Pink.
But this year, the hosts went all out with their epic movie costumes.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager
Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager will never let go. They were dressed like Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) from “Titanic.”
Savannah Guthrie
Savannah Guthrie wore all pink to play Reese Witherspoon’s Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde.” He was even joined by Luke Wilson, who plays Emmett Richmond in his beloved film.
Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer
In honor of the “Betelgeuse” sequel arriving last month, Al Roker transformed into Michael Keaton’s Betelgeuse. Dylan Dryer went as Winona Ryder’s Lydia Dietz. The couple danced to the music of “Beetlejuice” while revealing their costumes.
Carson Daly and Sheinelle Jones
yes baby! Carson Daly transformed into Austin Powers – while Scheinelle Jones dressed as Austin’s girlfriend, Beyonce’s Foxxy Cleopatra from “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” Her look was complete with a big hairstyle and gold outfit.
Willie Geist
Willie Geist chose to dress up as Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy from “Anchorman.”
