Tony Buzbee has just filed an explosive lawsuit against Roc Nation, and Jay Z’s attorney Media Take Out has confirmed it. They claim Jay Z’s company is involved in an illegal scheme.
Houston’s attorney is saying Jay Z’s team and his lawyers are involved in a “scheme” to stop her from filing a lawsuit against him and Diddy. Buzbee claims he has evidence of the scheme – which he says has been provided to the authorities.
Here’s what Tony’s company is saying on Facebook:
Today Buzbee Law Firm filed a lawsuit against Roc Nation and attorneys Marcy Croft and Quinn Emanuel for violations of various state laws, including misconduct and impersonation of a public official. The case was brought on behalf of a former client of the firm who was illegally solicited by agents working on the defendants’ behalf. These agents pretended to work for the State of Texas and offered money to a former client to sue the Buzbee Law Firm. This illegal conduct has happened more than two dozen times so far and has resulted in two completely frivolous cases against the firm.
The lawsuit filed today alleges that the defendants’ conspiracy is intended to obstruct justice and prevent Buzbee Law Firm from pursuing matters related to the Diddy litigation in New York. The conduct is not merely alleged—it was captured on tape.
Defendant Marcy Croft, who describes herself as part of “Team Rock” on social media, masterminded the conspiracy with the assistance of defendant Quinn Emanuel. As you can see from the screenshots, Croft, Quinn Emanuel and Roc Nation have a long working history. The lawsuit alleges that defendant Roc Nation is financing the illegal effort.
As described in the lawsuit, earlier this week, agents working on Croft’s behalf were again taped to persuade former clients of the Buzbee law firm to file a frivolous case against Buzbee Law ( Was caught soliciting up to $10,000. adamant.
These people have now stooped to a new level to try to intimidate the attorneys at Buzbee Law Firm from doing their important work. They are now contacting customers and former customers and actually offering them money to sue me. This conduct was specifically targeted at our firm so we will not pursue matters related to the Diddy litigation. Let me be clear: will not be bullied or intimidated. The defendants crossed the line this time, became careless and foolishly caught their illegal scheme on tape. We have reported this conduct to the authorities, and intend to cooperate with the authorities to ensure that all those involved are prosecuted to the fullest extent under Texas law.
Media Take Out took a quick look at the Facebook comments, and it looks like Jay Z is in trouble.
