New video footage has emerged showing Travis Scott — whose real name is Jacques Webster — being dragged out of a five-star Paris hotel lobby in handcuffs by cops early Friday morning before being placed into the back of a police car.
The 33-year-old was wearing a yellow hoodie, black sweatpants, and sneakers as two police officers held his arms on either side.
One officer was seen speaking to Scott, as another officer held him back.
Hotel staff of the Four Seasons Hotel George V tried to block the view of cameras to no avail, as the cops eventually got the rapper to stop resisting and head outside.
Scott emerged from the hotel doors with his head bent low as three officers placed him in the back of a police car.
The “Butterfly Effect” artist continued to look down as he appeared to briefly answer the cop’s questions.
As Page Six reported Friday morning, Scott got into an altercation with his security guard when a local paparazzi was allegedly able to get into the trunk of his car.
“They were screaming at each other, and the hotel freaked out and called the cops,” the insider said of the incident.
Scott — who is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, which he attended on Thursday — was taken into custody just after 5 a.m. local time.
A rep for Scott told The Post, “We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate.”
Page Six sources have said Scott will be released Friday afternoon Paris time.
The Paris prosecutor’s office shared in a statement to NBC, “I can confirm that on Aug. 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.”
The statement continued: “The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.”
The 10-time Grammy nominee was previously arrested in Miami Beach, Fla., on June 20 for disorderly intoxication.
Although the charge was later dropped, Scott is still reportedly facing a trespassing charge.
Scott’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Page Six at the time: “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding. There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”
