Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday dismissed Taylor Swift's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris — saying he likes Brittany Mahomes more anyway.
Trump, 78, when asked about Swift, 34, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, in an early-morning TV interview, cheered the fact that she would be voting for his Democratic opponent.
When asked about Swift's endorsement, the Republican candidate told Fox News' “Fox & Friends,” “If you want to know the truth, I like Mrs. Mahomes better. She's a huge Trump fan.”
“I love Britney. I think Britney's wonderful,” Trump added.
“She's a huge, huge MAGA fan. Way better than Taylor Swift.”
The incident comes after Mahomes recently made headlines for liking an Instagram post from Trump.
Trump, meanwhile, said he wasn't surprised Swift didn't endorse him, saying, “She's a very generous person.”
“She always seems to support the Democrats, and she's probably going to pay a price for that in the market,” he said.
