Former President Donald Trump joked during a Long Island rally on Wednesday that he hopes his wife Melania will write “nice things” about him in her upcoming memoir.
The 78-year-old Republican presidential nominee received thunderous applause and laughter from the crowd at Nassau Coliseum as he promoted the former first lady's book, to be released in October.
“Go and get his book,” she said. “He's just written a book. I hope he has said nice things about me.”
“Go out and buy it, it's great. And if she says bad things about me I'll call you all and say don't buy it, get rid of it,” Trump quipped, drawing laughter from his supporters.
