“When Obama was running, I voted for him the first time, but not the second time,” he said. “He was the first black president, but honestly he didn’t do much for any black people.”

Alexander Spellen, founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based precious metals company Fisher Capital Group, said his company is helping sponsor the Turning Point program. Even though he believes the company will sell more gold if Harris wins the White House, he is supporting Trump.

“We share the same values,” Spillane said of the former president. “However, more importantly, I believe he will be someone who can help the economy go from strength to strength. “My concern is to get the right person in office who will do the best thing for this country.”

“The majority of people there are anti-Trump. So it’s very different being here, because people here support Trump, and we have more freedom to wear a MAGA hat here,” she said.

Braxton Mitchell, 24, a member of the Montana House of Representatives, came to the event with his grandfather, who recently moved to Mesquite, a town 90 minutes away.

“I would definitely like to see at least one or two more rallies before Election Day,” the lawmaker told The Post. “Apparently, things are coming to a head.”

Mitchell, who is facing a re-election campaign at home, said he was impressed that Nevada is in the game.

Recent surveys have given Trump a lead ranging from one point to two points. Early voting has been strong, with Republican leads across the state in both mail-in and in-person ballots during the first six days of voting ending on November 1.

“A few months ago, no one could have imagined Nevada being competitive here at the end,” Mitchell said. “But registrations are good and early voting data looks good.”
