Two people killed, six injured in overnight shooting and stabbing in New York City

It was a bloody night in the Big Apple, with two people killed and six injured in three separate violent incidents in the city.

A horrific scene unfolded in Brooklyn early Saturday morning when a gunfire broke out on a Greenpoint street, police said.

The shots were fired about 1:50 a.m. at Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street, a department spokesperson said.

Police were still investigating the incident and searching for two gunmen, officials said.

The shots were fired about 1:50 a.m. at Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street, which run parallel to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, a department spokesman said.

Bloody scorecard: Police said three 18-year-olds entered Wikoff Hospital; one was shot in the left ankle, another in the face — both were in stable condition — and the third was severely wounded in the chest.

All three people made it to the scene without EMS assistance, officials said.

Police later learned that a 33-year-old man also walked into Woodhull Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right ankle, and two wounded 20-year-olds were admitted to Jamaica Hospital — one shot in the back and the other in the left leg, police said.

All were reported to be in stable condition, the NYPD said.

No arrests have been made and police said they don't have much information in the mass shooting. “We are looking for two males,” an NYPD spokesman said. “That's it. That's all we have.”

Earlier on Friday night at 11:45pm, Kuen Tat Ho, 76, was stabbed multiple times in the head, back and torso at his home at 23-37 120th Street, College Point, police said.

EMS transported Ho to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Investigators arrested the deceased's wife, 74-year-old Lai Chun Ho, on murder charges.

He has been charged with murder and weapons possession.

An NYPD spokesperson said, “A motive has not yet been determined and the investigation is ongoing.”

Elsewhere, a man was shot in the stomach shortly before 3:30 a.m. in front of 1186 Evergreen Ave. in the Bronx, police said.

EMS transported the unidentified victim to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim's age was not immediately known.
