US actor Kaley Cuoco has revealed her hit HBO show The Flight Attendant will not return for a third season.
Calling the project a “dream come true,” the actor gave a shout-out to her “incredible” team who helped bring the first two seasons to life.
“What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime,” Cuoco said in a statement to Decider.

“I always envisioned TFA as a limited series and thanks to an incredible creative team, we were able to deliver two thrilling seasons.
“Personally, playing Cassie has been a dream come true and I am so grateful for everyone who played a part in bringing this extremely original series to life.”
The show, which is available to watch on Binge, debuted in 2020 and focused on an alcoholic stewardess named Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) whose life changes after she finds a dead man in her hotel room with no recollection of what happened.
Season one was based on the book of the same name by Chris Bohjalian while season two expanded upon the book.
Showrunners for the series teased a potential third season in 2023, even sharing some ideas that they had for the plot.
“Our plan has always been that each season would be its own stand-alone Cassie Bowden-as-the-flight-attendant adventure,” showrunners Yockey and Natalie Chaidez said, according to the Decider report.
“Emotional stories would continue, but it would be a case with a beginning, middle, and an end.
“So I feel like the season finale of season 1 could have been a series finale. I feel like this could also serve as a series finale.
“We feel like Cassie’s in a good place.”
The news comes 10 months after Cuoco and her husband Tom Pelphrey welcomed their first child, a daughter Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.
“We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,” she said in March on Instagram.
“Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days.
“We are blessed beyond belief.”
To her husband, Cuoco said she “didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did”.
Pelphrey, also an actor, is known for his work in TV series Iron Fist and Ozark.
