A Walmart employee is warning women against using the retailer’s restroom, saying there are serious health dangers hidden in plain sight.
Employee named Devan announced public service a tiktok video Which was viewed 611,000 times and caused a lot of alarm.
“It concerns men and women, but mainly women, and you’ll see why,” Devan announces, before revealing that the problem is caused by the restroom’s toilet paper.
Before urinating or defecating inside the store, the employee urged shoppers to check inside the toilet paper roll dispenser to see if IV drug users have wiped their needles.
In the video, Devon showed a picture of a toilet roll with blood stains on it.
“It’s from drug addicts going to the bathroom with needles and taking the cover off [the toilet roll dispenser] “Sticked their needles in there and cleaned their needles out,” Devan claimed.
He added that even if you don’t see blood on the roll, it’s important to check for pin holes because needles don’t always have to be bloody after use.
“If you want to be safe, remove the cover, check the toilet paper. If that sounds like it, get up and throw that thing in the trash,” he urged.
She said Walmart shoppers should bring wipes with them to ensure their safety.
The Post has reached out to the retailer for comment.
Devon said he’s personally seen bloodied paper once or twice at Walmart — but onlookers said they’ve seen similar things in various public restrooms.
“Saw this in a little café in Rome Italy. This is a worldwide dilemma,” one wrote.
Meanwhile, others were shocked by the revelation and thanked Devan for his public service announcement.
“Never would have thought that! Thank you very much for your attention,” said a grateful shopper.
“Thanks for the advice!! This is crazy!! What a wound. Simple things like toilet paper can be a danger,” said another shocked viewer.
This is not the first time that someone on TikTok has warned their followers about the risks.
last year, TikTok tipster Dan Jones warned Shared a photo of a toilet paper roll covered in tiny red spots with long, thin and colorless streak marks.
“If you look closely, you’ll see a bunch of little red blood splatters,” Jones said. “It’s not because of someone’s nose bleeding or a minor accident.”
“This is from someone cleaning their needles – dirty needles to be precise,” he added. “We don’t know if it was one person or multiple people who were cleaning their needles after injecting drugs.”
He urged anyone who witnesses such a scene to leave the public toilet immediately.
