Princes William and Harry Came face to face for the first time in 15 months when he attended the funeral of his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, in England earlier this week.
But according to other attendees, the two estranged brothers didn't speak a single word to each other.
According to royal historian Hugo Vickers, the continuing deadlock suggests a reconciliation is unlikely in the “foreseeable future”.
“They've been in the same room a number of times, if I may put it that way,” Vickers said. Sun. “But that doesn’t mean there will be reconciliation.
“As far as I understand it, Prince William is very angry and largely unwilling to forgive, so I think there's a lot of groundwork still to be laid,” he said.
Vickers added, “I've said it on many occasions before: There's always a possibility for reconciliation, especially if both sides are willing to give a little bit.”
“And hopefully one day it will happen. But I honestly don't see it happening in the near future.”
The Post confirmed that Harry attended the service for Lord Fellowes — who was married to Princess Diana's sister Jane — at St. Mary's Church in Snettisham, located in the county of Norfolk, last Wednesday.

Since that time, Charles has been diagnosed with cancer.
William's wife, Princess Kate, has also been diagnosed with cancer.
An insider told the Post that Prince Harry went to the funeral “in a personal capacity,” adding that his visit was not extended. He flew in for the funeral and left shortly after, the source said.
