A groom who was in Buenos Aires for his wedding and witnessed One Direction star Liam Payne’s fatal fall said he was haunted by the sound of the singer’s body hitting the ground.
Brett Watson was in his first-floor room at the Casasur Palermo hotel with his wedding planner when he saw the 31-year-old’s body fall, Watson told TMZ.

He further said that the worst part of it all was not seeing Payne fall, but hearing his body hit the hard ground below.
“It’s heartbreaking to see anyone fall like that, but seeing it happen and hearing its impact on the ground was even scarier than seeing him fall,” Watson said.
“Then seeing the immediate results, it’s something that sticks in my mind. It’s something I will never forget. I’m still trying to process and understand everything.
The groom said he and his wedding guests had observed Payne becoming intoxicated and unstable throughout the day.
