A woman died Sunday morning after a fire was set aboard the F train in Coney Island, police sources told The Post.
NYPD officers responded to a report of a fire at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station just before 7:30 a.m. and found a woman sitting on an idled F train burning in flames, police told The Post.
Police extinguished the fire and EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene. According to sources, liquor bottles and match boxes were found around him.
According to sources, it is not clear why the woman set herself on fire.
Police said the incident is being investigated.
