Woman suffers debilitating symptoms after buying tapeworm pills online

You can leave no stone unturned in getting rid of obesity.

Doctors on YouTube have warned viewers that tapeworm egg pills are being sold on the dark web as a quick solution to weight loss – putting consumers at risk of serious illness and possible death.

It is known that the parasite makes its way into the human intestine after its eggs are unknowingly consumed through undercooked meat products, some parasites can grow up to 30 feet long while feeding on their host’s post-chewed food, causing Weight is reduced. The bizarre practice of eating tapeworm eggs for weight loss dates back to at least the Victorian era, although it is unclear how often this method was commonly used.

Dr. Bernard Su, a US-based oncologist and host of ChubbyMu, a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing stories of medical inequities, reports on a case study of a woman who purchased capsules filled with tapeworm eggs using cryptocurrency.

The 21-year-old patient, referred to only as “TE”, was struggling to lose weight conventionally through diet and exercise when she saw an ad for the “controversial” weight loss treatment on social media. In which it was already assured. After the pictures.

“TE was curious. A ‘forbidden’ method is one that should be so good and so powerful that it is a true secret that must be known,” Hsu began.

Tee wasted no time in taking two tapeworm pills and soon saw the results he expected – though at the uncomfortable price of regular stomach cramps and bloating. Still happy with his weight loss, he dismissed the symptoms.

However, her anxiety increased after a shocking bathroom incident, as Hsu graphically recalled. ‘She thought she felt something fluttering and pouting around her cheeks as she sat down,’ he said.

“When she was about to flush, she looked back and saw that some brown, rectangular pieces were floating in the bowl and falling out of the mass.”

Again, TE included her strange bowel movements as all part of the process – the fat was leaving her body.

But her symptoms became more strange: A few weeks later, she noticed an unusual lump under her chin. She reportedly cowered on the mound, and then woke up face down on the floor after apparently fainting, with no knowledge of how long she remained unconscious.

The episode was followed by severe headaches and cranial pressure for several days.

Ultimately, she admitted herself to a hospital for severe headaches and stomach pain – without telling them about her foray into the tapeworm diet. Specific tests measuring blood sugar levels and bacterial infection came back negative. Believing he might have some unknown viral infection, doctors treated his swollen abdomen and sent him home without a clear diagnosis.

The headaches soon returned with a scary new symptom.

“She would have periodic periods where she would wake up suddenly in the middle of the day and not remember anything from the previous few hours,” Sue said.

She returned to the hospital again. At this time, almost a year had passed since she swallowed the tapeworm eggs – but her doctors still didn’t know why.

Doctors turned their scope to his brain and found multiple lesions, prompting them to take a comprehensive look at his entire body where they found more lesions in several organs, including his tongue and liver.

Ultimately, TE confessed to his dangerous diet trick.

They found that the TE had eaten two species of parasites. Taenia saginata, or beef tapeworm, matches the description of the oblong, brown worms he found in his toilet bowl just a few weeks after taking the pills for the first time.

It was the second type that caused major problems. Taenia solium, which originates from pork, is known to make its way outside the digestive tract by releasing eggs into the bloodstream and depositing on any type of body tissue, such as the brain. Although they won’t hatch unless they’re in the intestine, intact eggs can cause a variety of nasty side effects, such as the hard lump under her chin – a clutch of eggs – Tey found.

This process is called cysticercosis – harmless for some but a nightmare for others, depending on where the eggs fall. Hsu claimed that other people who have suffered cysticercosis of the brain have endured personality problems and cognitive dysfunction for years before the problem was discovered.

Fortunately, tapeworms are treatable and Ty was given medications to paralyze and starve the worms, allowing the body to expel the foreign organisms, and steroids to calm the inflammation in his brain.

After three weeks in the hospital, TE became tapeworm-free and was discharged.

Hsu urged viewers to heed this cautionary tale: “In an able-bodied human being, it is physically possible to lose weight with diet and exercise, and it is easier than knowingly allowing extra organisms to live inside you.” There is very little risk.”
