The world’s smallest Rubik’s Cube may also have the highest price in the world.
This fully functional six-sided puzzle cube by Japanese toy maker Megahouse is so small it can fit under a finger nail, and you might need tweezers to solve it.
Priced at $5,320 (777,777 yen), the Cube was made available for pre-order on the manufacturer’s website on Thursday and is expected to be delivered next April.
Each order comes with a stand that proclaims it to be the “World’s Record Smallest Rubik’s Cube.”
Guinness World Records The puzzle was officially confirmed as the world’s “smallest rotating puzzle cube” by Megahouse in August.
The rotating puzzle cube is made of aluminum and weighs 0.33 grams or 0.01 ounces. Its width is 0.19 inches, height is 0.19 inches and length is 0.19 inches. It is approximately 0.2 inches wide.
“The 5-millimeter Rubik’s Cube is the result of the trinity of machines, cutting tools, and the passion of the players,” Kiyokazu Saito, president of Iriso Precision, the company used for precision cutting, said in a video. Megahouse website,
