A wellness doctor who allegedly treated WWE wrestlers and employees has dropped a lawsuit against a woman. Vince McMahon accused of sexual assault and sex traffickingcourt records show.
Dr. Carlon Kolker filed a motion in court last month seeking evidence from Janelle Grant, a former WWE employee who has alleged that McMahon used her as a sex slave And a separate federal lawsuit alleges she was defecated on her head while she worked at the company.
The pretrial motion, filed in response to a suit filed by Grant in July, appears to be a precursor to a defamation suit that was withdrawn last week, according to a document filed Wednesday in Connecticut Superior Court.
Grant is seeking to obtain medical records from Kolker so he can use them as evidence in his lawsuit against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis (a former top WWE executive), who he alleges also participated in multiple assaults against him.
McMahon and Laurinaitis has denied the allegations.
“Not surprisingly, Dr. Kolker has withdrawn his baseless motion,” Grant's attorney, Ann Callis, said in a statement.
“Like Mr. McMahon's recent motion to dismiss, this is filed as another frivolous attempt to intimidate Ms. Grant.”
Grant's petition against Kolker is still active.
“Ms. Grant remains steadfast in her right to obtain documents and information relating to her own medical records, meta-data, Dr. Kolker's prescribed treatments, and any communications between Dr. Kolker and other parties regarding Ms. Grant or Ms. Grant's medical treatment,” Callis said.
According to Grant, McMahon directed him to Kolker's Greenwich, Connecticut, clinic, Peak Wellness, when he complained of fatigue and insomnia.
Grant alleges he was given IV infusions on more than 60 occasions and was prescribed supplements and medications, but was not told what he was given.
Grant also said he attempted to obtain his medical records from the clinic, but was refused permission to do so.
The Post has sought comment from Kolker, Peak Wellness and McMahon.
McMahon — who resigned as executive chairman of WWE-parent TKO Group Holdings earlier this year following Grant’s lawsuit — is also being investigated by federal authorities for allegedly paying women to keep quiet over the course of several years.
In his court filings, McMahon alleged that Grant was a willing participant in their sexual activities.
He claimed that Grant would sneak into his penthouse apartment late at night, lie in his bed, and then return to her home in the same building.
McMahon also alleged that Grant had written him love letters and was planning a future with him. Grant's representatives denied these claims, saying she was forced to write the letters.
