Zara Tindall is “shaken to the core” over her mother Princess Anne’s amnesia after she was struck by a horse last month.
The Princess Royal, 73, was concussed and experienced subsequent memory loss following the incident on the grounds of her Gatcombe Park estate on June 23.
The ordeal has left Tindall worried for her mother’s health, according to palace sources.
“This is exactly what Zara’s been worried about happening for years now, but her mom hasn’t had a chance to slow down with everyone else falling apart,” a royal insider told OK! Magazine.
“It’s really shaken Zara to the core and she’s desperately hoping this memory is temporary. This has been a huge wake-up call for everyone in the family and they’re rightfully distressed.”
Anne was discharged from the hospital last week after a total of five days, and doctors said she’s expected to make a full recovery.
The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.
The royal — who is King Charles’ only sister — arrived home last Friday, and she’s expected to remain there for a further period of rest.
However, details about her return to official duties remain unclear.
Anne — daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip — has canceled all official duties for the foreseeable future, including a state visit, and a trip to Canada.
“On doctors’ advice, Her Royal Highness’s engagements for the week ahead will be postponed. Her Royal Highness sends her apologies to any who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result,” her spokesperson said last week.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold has told The Post exclusively that Anne could be sitting out royal duties for weeks, adding that her absence will have a “big impact on her.”
Anne isn’t the only royal facing health woes.
Her brother, King Charles, is currently battling cancer after revealing his diagnosis to the world in February.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is receiving treatment for an unspecified cancer diagnosis of her own.
The Princess of Wales, 42, said she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment in a pre-recorded video message shared in March.
Elsewhere, Sarah Ferguson revealed her aggressive skin cancer diagnosis in January.
The Duchess of York, 64, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma less than a year after her breast cancer diagnosis.
