Ariana Grande has taste.
The 31-year-old pop star channeled several of Hollywood’s most coveted ladies while hosting “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
during his opening monologueGrande joked that she was only there to host and wanted to be “low-key” during the episode.
“I just want to make one thing clear; I’m just hosting. I’m not going to make it about me. I’m just going to have fun, take it easy and keep it short,” she said.
Grande also promised that she would not sing or “do my impression” – but once she was given the microphone, she did impressions of Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Gwen Stefani.
She showcased her vocal pipes, perfecting the notes of Spears’ “Baby One More Time” and No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak.”
Grande was joined by her “Wicked” co-star Bowen Yang, who was dressed as Glinda.
“Bowen, didn’t anyone tell you? We cut the ‘Wicked’ sketch,” said Grande, who plays Glinda in film adaptation of the Broadway play which will hit theaters next month.
Grande concluded her opening monologue with a chorus line of “hot dancers” dressed in glittering suits.

Dana Carvey later appeared as the third Coolidge and the three of them applied lip gloss to each other.

Grande sang about the brutal UCF battles in her version of “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”.
The episode also featured a sketch featuring Grande and cast members Heidi Gardner, Ado Nwodim and Sarah Sherman. Sabrina Carpenter’s copy of “Espresso” Singing about the bachelorette trip to Feynman’s wedding.
Grande intentionally sang off-key during the hilarious performance.
Grande previously hosted ‘SNL’ in March 2016, when she was also the musical guest.
The event was hosted by Grande herself, with Stevie Nicks as the musical guest.
During her opening monologue, Grande said that her previous hosting stint was shortly before the presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
“It’s amazing to be here. The last time I hosted was in 2016, and we were on the verge of electing our first female president,” she said.
“So I guess second time’s the charm,” he said, referring to Voting on 5th November Between Trump, 78, and Kamala Harris.
Grande, like many Hollywood stars, is supporting Harris, 59, in the race.
