Police said Mayren was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property, petty theft, aggravated assault and harassment.
Overall, felony crime in the city’s transit system has declined so far this year, with 1,807 crimes reported compared to 1,928 at this point in 2023, according to the latest NYPD data updated Sunday.
